Nigeria Football Federation, NFF President, Mr Amaju Pinnick has charged Nigerian Footballers to take their education seriously even as they pursue careers in football, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

Pinnick, a member of FIFA Council, stated this while pouring encomium on former Super Eagles star Seyi Olofinjana who was appointed Technical Director with FC Zurich.

“Seyi George Olofinjana one time super Eagles player was named Technical director with FC Zurich and that’s a huge one. I keep telling you about Africans and Nigerians doing it in a grandstyle.

“It’s not easy to give a particular position of that magnitude to Nigerian.

“Olofinjana was one time Super Eagles player and had played for this country and had over 50 caps, (48 caps, no goal) hence, I always tell the young players of now to combine education with football.

“Olofinjana has two Masters degree and he’s earning the dividend of combining education with football now. He was formally with wolvehamton as club administrator and now technical director, it’s quite massive”

Olofingana who debuted for Super Eagles in 2000, made 48 appearances scoring no go.

He started his football career with Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL side, Kwara United where he spent our season before going on the play for Stoke City, Hull City, among others in England.
