Nigeria Club Oyah FC Involved In Ghastly Accident, Players, Technical Adviser Injured

A Nigeria National League, NNL club side, Oyah Sports International FC are involved in auto crash in Keffi, Nasarawa State with 8 players and Technical Adviser of the club sustaining various degrees of injuries, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
Confirming the accident Saturday morning, Media officer of the league, Amar Ignis noted that no death was recorded in the accident which occurred at Keffi Road Akwanga on their way to Jaligo, Taraba state to honour their Sunday match
“Oyah Sports Int’ l FC campaigning in the Northern Conference A1 in the 20-21 NNL season just had an auto crash along Keffi Road Akwanga Road on the way to Jalingo, to honour their weekend fixture with FC Taraba tomorrow,” he said.
“No death case, but team’s Technical Adviser and two players had broken legs and broken shoulder with six other players sustaining various degrees of injuries.”
The report added that the Club Chairman sustained neck and leg injuries.
“The management of the Nigeria National League sympathizes with the Oyah players and entire team on this unfortunate development ,while thanking God for the saved lives,” the statement further said
Consequently, the NNL has put on hold the match between homers FC Taraba and Oyah Sports Int’l to allow the players and official time to recuperate.
This is as many times Nigerian club sides have been involved in road mishaps with deaths not recorded.
Akwa United, Wikki Tourists, Ekiti United, Enyimba feeder team have all at various times this year been involved in road accidents.
