The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, CEO Lapai Football Academy, Mr Batako Umar Lapai have been appointed the Director General of the Federation of Youth Soccer Clubs, FEYSOC, in Niger State, www.bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The appointment of Mr Lapai a seasoned grassroots football administrator, was contained in a letter dated 4th October, 2021 and made available to our correspondent.

The Federation said in the letter that Mr Lapai’s appointment became necessary following his unprecedented contribution to the development of football not only in Niger state but Nigeria at large.

In a letter signed by the National Executive Secretary, FEYSOC, A. S Luya the federation prayed him to consolidate on his strides in expanding the frontiers of football development in the state and beyond.

“I am directed to write and inform you that following your contributions, support, interest, commitment, dedication, and your love for sport development particularly football in Nigeria.

“The Federation of Youth and Soccer Clubs FEYSOC National Council Members has appointed you as the new Director General of the organization in Niger State. I am also pleased to inform you that this
appointment is surely on merit.

“FEYSOC hope that the organization will be a household (name) in Niger State and Nigeria at large. With this appomiment we pray and hope that sky will be your limit in the general development of the game of football in Nigeria,” the letter read.

Prior to his elevation as the DG Niger State FEYSOC, Mr Lapai was the Coordinator of the federation in Lapai Local Government, Niger State.
