Chairman of Nigeria Nationwide League One, NLO side Flight FC of Gboko, Benue State, Mr Solomon Andiir have stated that the ambition of the young team is to win the 2022 League season.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with www.bestchoicesports.com.ng after his team’s match against Fosla FC in Abuja, the young astute administrator expressed confidence that his boys will do remarkable things in the league this season.

“My target in the league is to come first. I will be topping the league by the end of the season.

“We have played four matches and have three points but we will still top the group, I promise you that, at the end of the season,” he said.

On his assessment of the match which his boys lost 2-0, Mr Andiir blamed the defeat on fatigue but commended the players for giving a good account of themselves considering the circumstances

“I am satisfied with the outcome of the match. Football is a game of 90 minutes. After 90 minutes, it is done. We lost 2-0, we go back to the drawing board and work harder for our next game.

“The boys tried considering the distance we travelled all the way from Gboko, Benue State down to here, Abuja. So I think it was due to fatigue but the boys worked hard. I will appreciate them and encourage them to work more going forward.”
