2023 AFCON Qualifiers: Super Eagles Win Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau Tops Group A

Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Thursday began their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON qualifying race on a winning note after they defeated Sierra Leone 2-1 in their first Group A Match.

Played at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja, the Jose Peseiro’s lad came from behind to snatch the three points after going behind in the 11th minute.

Super Eagles will be on the road on 13th to face Sao Tome and Principe in the second match while Guinea Bissau will travel to face Sierra Leone.
