The 2022 Nigeria Football Federation, NFF election will hold in the ancient city of Benin, Edo State capital next month.

It was gathered that the date for the elective Congress and elongation of the tenure of the current board of the federation was agreed at the ongoing emergency Annual General Assembly holding in Lagos, South West Nigeria.

The 44-man Congress rejected October 20th which was proposed as the election date, but adopted the original date, September 30th.

Incumbent president, Amaju Pinnick also stated that he was not “going to contest for a 3rd term” in office.
