World football governing body FIFA has appointed former Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh as a Technical Expert for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder confirmed the appointment on Saturday.

The FIFA World Cup Technical Expert group will be led by former Arsenal FC manager, Arsene Wenger with ex Germany player and manager, Jurgen Klinnsman among the team.

Oliseh added that work started on Friday night.

“Extremely honoured to have been appointed by FIFA as a Technical Expert for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

“In privileged company of “Sir” Arsene Wenger, Jurgen Klinnsman and 3 others. Work started last night . Qatar is looking great and ready!!”, The former Super Eagles captain said on his Facebook Page.

The World Cup 2022 takes place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18 with 32 teams to compete in eight groups.

France are the defending champions after they won it in Russia eight years ago.
