Kano and Oyo states have won gold in the handball event of the 21st National Sports Festival 2022 in Asaba, Edo State.

Kano State had to really dig deep to beat home state, Delta 27-25 in the final of the men category to claim gold.

It was even tougher for Oyo state in the final of the women category as they outscored Delta state 41-40 to claim gold at the expense of the home side.
