Roma Coach, Jose Mourinho has disclosed he would seek a legal action following a two-match touchline nam and another £8, 800 fine as a result of his sending off during Roma’s 2-1 defeat by Cremonese on Tuesday I. The Italian Serie A

The Portuguese were not happy about a decision that was taken against his team during the first half of the game and he vented his anger towards the assistant referee

Italy left-back Leonardo Spinazzola fired Roma level from Gianluca Mancini’s long pass as Mourinho watched from the stands.

But Tsadjout’s strike-partner Daniel Ciofani fired an 83rd-minute penalty winner – following a foul by keeper Rui Patricio – to lift the home side over Sampdoria at the bottom.

After the fiery clash, Mourinho was still raging, particularly with fourth official Marco Serra.

Serie A confirmed that Mourinho entered the referee’s dressing room and used offensive language against the fourth official. The governing body of the league has confirmed that he will not be on the touchline for two games and has also been fined £8,800.

However, he is looking to seek redress against the decision.

The Portuguese coach said: “I am emotional, but not crazy. In order to react the way I did, something had to happen first.

“I need to understand if I can take any legal action. [Referee Marco] Piccinini gave me a red card, because unfortunately the fourth official does not have the capacity to understand what he said to me.

“I want to find out if there is an audio recording. I don’t want to get into the fact that Serra is from Turin and on Sunday we are playing against Juventus.”

Mourinho continued: “For the first time in my career, a fourth official spoke to me in the most incredible way. It was unjustifiable.

“At the end of the game, I went to speak to them. Piccinini, who was the fourth official in the last game when I was sent off, told me to apologise to Serra.

“I told Serra he should have the courage to explain what happened, but he had memory problems.”

When pressed to reveal what Serra had said, Mourinho refused, saying: “I prefer for everything to be done in public.”

Victory over a Cremonese, who had also dumped them out of the Italian Cup, would have put Roma back in the four Champions League spots.

However, Cremonese, celebrated their first Serie A triumph over Roma since March 1996.

This decision means he will not be available for the game against Juventus and Sassuolo on March 5th and 12th respectively.

They returned to the top-flight this season as Serie B runners-up.

But promotion-winning boss Fabio Pecchia quit for Parma in the summer, with former Lazio and Genoa chief Davide Ballardini replacing him but struggling since.

Osimhen has been one of the best players in Italy in the last 18 months. The Super Eagles striker ended last season with 18 goals and six assists in all competitions.

This season, the former Lille man has performed beyond expectations. He has outdone his personal best and sits on 21 goals and four assists in 25 appearances in all competitions.

Osimhen’s displays have not gone unnoticed, as many top clubs have their sights set on him. Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Newcastle, and Arsenal have been heavily linked with the 24-year-old goal poacher since last summer.

Also, Italian transfer market expert Venerato per Napoli Magazine has revealed that PSG are interested in signing Osimhen.

The French have a lot of quality in the final third, but they lack adequate backup. As such, Osimhen is an enticing option.

However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis may only let Osimhen go if he gets a very good offer.

Nonetheless, Osimhen still has two years left on his contract and there have been no concrete extension talks yet. Napoli may hold out for over €120million fee for the striker who is propelling Napoli to their first Serie A titles since 1990.
