Seven-time champions, Rangers International FC of Enugu will face Doma United FC of Gombe State in the opening Matchday one of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier League, NPL season.

The fixture was revealed on Tuesday after the draw was held by the league organisers in Abuja.

The new NPL season  draw which would be played in straight format, threw up interesting fixtures with 2020/2021 champions, Akwa United playing Bayelsa United away.

In other matches, defending Champions, Enyimba FC who crashed out of the CAF Champions League over the weekend, will battle CAF Confederation Cup campaigners, Bendel Insurance.

Penultimate champions, Rivers United will be home to Remo Stars while Shooting Stars will welcome 2017 champions, Plateau United.

The Leagues officially starts on September 9, 2023.
