NPFL MD1 Tornadoes Coach Targets Three Points Against Kwara United in Ilorin

Ahead 8f today’s Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL Matchday one fixtures across nine centers, Niger Tornadoes Technical Adviser, Majin Mohammed is optimistic that his boys can pick all three points against Kwara United in Ilorin
Speaking to journalists shortly after his team’s work out at the Kwara Sports Complex, Ilorin, ahead of Sunday’s game, Majin Mohammed said, he is optimistic of a positive outing.
“Well, the league is just starting and every team is prepared, the same for us, So, it’s going to be very tough in this early stage. Kwara United are a strong side anytime, any day but we are equally fully prepared for the game.
“We were here last season and we escaped with a scoreless draw, while the returning leg in Kaduna also ended 1-1, this underlines the importance of the fixture for the two teams.”
Coach Majin added that the natural grass at the Kwara Sports Complex would play to both teams advantage as Tornadoes equally trains on grass.
It’s a home coming for the likes of Sunday Akinmoladun, Ifeanyi Okoye, Mohammed Hussaini, Victor Okoro and Aliyu Mohammed Goyi who have shared both dressing rooms, having played for Kwara United at a time.
