Abia Comets of Umuahia will have their hands full as they battle promotion thirsty 3SC of Ibadan today at the Lekan Salami Adamisingba Stadium, Ibadan.

The Oluyole Warriors who missed promotion by whiskers last season are backed up by their large fan base and robust management.

The Ibadan soccer lords kick start their campaign in the 2018/19 season of the Nigeria National League (NNL) with a home game against visiting Abia Comets of Umuahia.

The management of the team believes that the support of the teeming followers and lovers of the club is a strong point for their promotion quest.

The management has assured that the team which has prepared adequately for the task ahead, are well motivated for the job ahead.

They equally promised a hitch free match this afternoon.

When the two teams met last season, 3SC were victors in Ibadan by a lone goal, while they settled for a goalless draw in Umuahia at the reverse fixture.
