Rabat Gold: Makanjuola, Chinoso Lead Flying Eagles’ Quest

Ahead of the 12th edition of the African Games in Rabat Morocco, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles coach Paul Aigbogun has listed the duo of Success Makanjuola and Emeka Chinoso among the 18 players that will carry Nigeria flag in her quest to clinch gold in the football events of the competition.

Expectedly, former Enyimba gaffer believed the duo can replicate the form that stood them out at the 2019 U20 African Cup of Nations and FIFA U20 World cup in Poland.

Success and Chinonso

All eyes will be on Makanjuola and Chinoso following their scintillating form in camp since they joined the team.

Apart from Chinoso and Makanjuola, Aigbogun also named Rabiu Zulkifilu Mohammed, Emeka Chinonso and Peter Eletu in the squad.

Nigeria are in the same group with host Morocco, South Africa and Burkinafaso.

The competition will run from 19th of August till 2019 however, the football event will start on 16th will Flying Eagles trading tackles with Burkina Faso in their first match on 17th by 8pm.
