Chioma Ajunwa Felicitates With Barr. Victoria Nlemigbo @60
Nigeria’s only female individual Olympic Gold medalist, Chioma Ajunwa has felicitated with former Board member of FCT Football Association, Barr Victoria Nlemigbo on her auspicious 60th birthday today, October 25, 2019
According a release signed by the media manager to Mrs Ajunwa, Amaechi Agbo, it noted the former long jump olympoc medalist who is an Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP, Lagos State Command, described Barr Victoria as an astute woman, a grassroots football development and a dogged fighter for increased awareness for women football in particular and sports generally.
She noted that the founder of Women Football All Stars Association of Nigeria WoFAAN, has demonstrated innate and practical passion for women football development in Nigeria
“Barrister Victoria Nlemigbo is not just a friend but a sister. Our relationship dates back to many years and I am honoured to have been in contact with her.
“She is an astute woman who champions the course of women. It is not just football but sports in totality. The only issue is that football is her pedestrial.
“She has committed more than half of her entire age championing the course of women sports. It is therefore not surprising that the world is celebrating her today.
“60 years on earth is on its own a milage but it is more wonderful when those years have been spent creating and impacting in the lives of others.
“Her passion in developing women football can be seeing on how she is championing the development and connection of of women via her project, Women Football All Stars Association of Nigeria WoFAAN, which has become a national rallying point for women footballers.
