The FCT FA Chairman Adam Mohammed Murktah in a happy birtday message released on Tuesday described Coach Bamigboye as a true sportsman, an astutue believer in the round leather game and appreciated him for his contributions to the development of football not just in the Federal Capital Territory, but in the entire nation.

While praying God to grant him long life and prosperity as he adds new years, Mr Adam called on all football stakeholders to imbibe Mr Bamigboye’s spirit of patriotism and commitment in order to take FCT football to enviable hieghts.

“Of course, Coach Bamigboye is a man I have known for years and his belief and commitment to the development of football and other sports generally in the FCT is commendable. We are not just happy for him rather we are grateful to God for His blessings upon him.

“Coach Bamigboye has contributed immensely to the development of football in the FCT and that is why the new board which I lead now deemed it necessary to celebrate him. To be honest woth you, we are indeed honoured to have a man of his calibre with us here in the FCT.

“At 57, one would say thay Coach Bamigboye has paid his due in football but I want to tell you that his passion for the round leather game is insatiable. We remain grateful to God for his mercies and grace upon him and we pray for His more blessings, protection and favour upon him.

“Coach Bamigboye is a point of reference when it comes to commitment in this game and I encourage other stakeholders to emulate this noble man.
