The Nigeria Professional Football League will now have four teams to parade when the 2019/20 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup season kick off, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

 It could be recalled that only two clubs in NPFL Lobi Stars and Rangers International FC represented Nigeria’s in in CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively in the 2018/19 season

Lobi Stars and Rangers Int’l both gave a good account of themselves by getting to the group stages of both leagues.

The high points of having two clubs in the continents was as results of outstanding performance of Enyimba last season in the continent where the two-time winners of CAF Champions League got to the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup where they loss out to Raja Casablanca of Morocco.

Nigeria lost the four spots this season due largely to porr performances NPFL clubs at the continent.

\for instance, in the beginning of the current 2017/18 season, four NPFL clubs, Plateau United, Enyimba, MFM and Akwa United were all involved in the last preliminary matches before the group stage and only Enyimba scaled through the huddle
