Breaking News: Gunmen Attack Ifeanyi Ubah Team In Kogi, Driver, Player Injured

FC ifeanyi Ubah players have been attacked by suspected gunmen in Okene, Kogi State on their way to honour Matchday 6 encounter with Jigawa Golden Stars, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
Bestchoicesports.com.ng gathered that the attackers fired gun shots on the team bus about a hundred meters from a popular army check point.
According the team’s captain, the team’s driver was targeted by the shot who lost control of the vehicle.
He added that one of the players was hit by the stray bullet but other players were unhurt.
The captain also noted that the spot which is regarded as “black spot” has recorded attacks by unknown gunmen even yesterday.
He however reported that the driver and the player are responding to treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
This is not the first time Nigeria Professional Football League sides are attacked on the road. Kano Pillars recently had such incident in Abaji, Abuja.
