Another NPFL Player Ebuka Odenigbo Is Dead

A former player of Kano Pillars, Ebuka David Odenigbo is Dead.

Odenigbo died on the early hours of today

As at the time of this report, the cause of his death is not known.

The 21-year-old player last featured for the Kano Pillars FC of Kano between 2018 and 2022.

Best Choices Sports can report that Ebuka Odenigbo was born on 23rd July 2001 and graduated from the University of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue State.

He last played for Kano Pillars FC in the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL season.

Ebuka Odenigbo died on Saturday morning

The attacker won gold medal at the 2017 Nigeria University Games, NUGA. He signed for Kano pillars in 2018 and won the 2018 Aiteo Cup with club.

That year, he played 35 NPFL matches, scored 9 and assisted further six goals.

Ebuka lost his elder brother last year.

Wearing jersey number 24, Ebuka David Odenigbo, popularly called “Forty40” died on the 24 day of December, 2022

His death comes three days after Nasarawa United player, Chinedu Udechukwu died in Jos Plateau State on Wednesday
