The organisers of Bash Ali Boxing Project has debunked media report that the honourable minister of youth and Sports, Barr Solomon Dalung is withholding money released by the federal government for the Bash Ali, Boxing Project Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

In a statement signed by the chairman of the Local Organising Committee of the Bash Ali Boxing Project Tuesday, Bash Ali, stated that the federal government never released money for the project and as such the minister is not withholding any money meant for the project.

The statement warned those who want to forment trouble with the minister through the project to desist from such.

“My attention has been drawn to an online publication that minister of youth and sports Barrister Solomon Dalung is holding billions of Narira released for the Bash Ali Boxing Project.

“I was with the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo recently and he never told me that a kobo was released to the sports ministry for the Bash Ali project or any other projects

“I Am not a coward and I can fight my battle myself and I do not need anybody to use me to fight with the minister.

“That each time I and my members met with the minister he gave us transportation fare (sic) that I am not a coward and I can fight my battle myself so I do not need anybody to use me to fight with the honourable minister,” Bash Ali, World Boxing Champion, said
