Scottish Premier League giants, Rangers have signed out of favour Super Eagles striker, Cyril Dessers from Italian Serie B side, Cremonese on a Four-year contract, Best Choice Sports can report
Desserts will be unveiled as a new Rangers player on Tuesday with Cremonese being paid €6.5 million including add-ons
Cremonese allowed the frontman join the Scottish Premiership giants for a little less than they paid Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk for the Nigerian last summer.
Dessers will have his medical at Ibrox Stadium on Tuesday
The 28-year-old will be the sixth summer arrival at Rangers.
The forward spent just one season at Cremonese, where he scored seven goals in 29 league appearances. But his heroics could not 0reserve their league status as they went down to the second division after their campaign last season in the top flight.
Rangers are looking to sign three more players before the start of the 2023/24 season.
Dessers scored ten goals in 32 appearances despite Cremonese’s relegation from Serie A last season and it’s hoped the 28-year-old will be able to bring that goalscoring form with him to Glasgow.
