CAF President, Patrice Motsepe Arrives Lagos For Aisha Buhari Invitational Tournament

Africa’s number one footballer and President, Confederation of Africa Football, CAF Patrice Motsepe have arrived Lagos, South-West Nigeria ahead of the commencement of the Aisha Buhari Invitational Tournament, www.bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
Mr Motsepe touched down the Murtala Mohmmad International Airport, Lagos where he was conveyed to to the venue of the opening match
Dr Patrice Motsepe who was elected CAF President in Match this year, is in Nigeria where he will attend the start of the Aisha Buhari Cup today, 15 September 2021.
Dr Motsepe, together with Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Amaju Pinnick, will meet different stakeholders in Nigeria discussing advancement of football in Africa, in particular women’s football development.
The CAF President will be joined by FIFA President Gianni Infantino who will also attend the Aisha Buhari Cup.
The competition features women’s national teams from Nigeria, Mali, Cameroon, Ghana, Morocco and South Africa featuring some of Africa’s top women footballers.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria will take on Mali today (Wednesday) in the opening match of the Aisha Buhari Cup 2021.
The encounter comes up inside the Mobolaji Johnson stadium, Onikan, Lagos. This will be the 10th meeting between the Falcons and Mali with the reigning African champions winning nine and one game ending in a draw. With the calibre of players that will be in action for the Falcons in today’s tie, it will be a shock if they fail to maintain their unbeaten streak over the Malians.
