President of the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF), Dame Martin Louis, has formally congratulated the new Exerctiive Council of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, led by its President, Engr. Habu Gumel.

Engr. Gumel was returned for another four-year term in office after NOC’s successful elections in Jalingo, Taraba State capital in December last year.

A statement signed by NOC Public Relations Officer (PRO), Tony Nezianya notes that the CGF President expressed support and willingness to work with the new board.

”I would like to send my congratulations to Engr. Habu Gumel for his re-election as President of Commonwealth Games Nigeria in the recent elections

”Please note that, as always, our team is here for you so please feel free to communicate when required,” it said.

The federation further enquired about any changes in the NOC’s email addresses for future correspondences

”Could I ask if there are any changes to direct email addresses for your key contacts so that we may update our email distribution lists for future communication from our Office?”
