There are indications that the public “fight” between former Nigeria Football Federation, NFF president, Amaju Pinnick and afrobeat singer , David Adeleke, popularly called  Davido will not be over soon as the singer has again dragged the ex NFF boss calling him a “dream crusher”

Pinnick had in a video which is circulating on the social media alleged that Davido was paid $94,600 (about 72 million naira) to perform at the 19th edition of the Warri Again festival but he never showed up.

Reacting to the allegation, Davido said he would not return the money Mr Pinnick claimed to have paid adding he would rather double the amount and give it a football charity organization.

“If I’m returning any money, I’ll return it to any football charity organization. In fact, I will double it,” he wrote on his Instagram handle.

Describing Mr Pinnick as “Mr Dream Crusher”, he alleged that many Nigerian footballers have had their dreams crushed because of his greed

“Mr Dream Crusher. Imagine how many Nigerian footballers have had their dreams crushed because person one lives for Ikoyi by force,” he said colloquially.

The multiple awards winner then apologised to his Warri fans and promised to make it up for them when he performs live his song “Timeless” in the city.

“To my lovely fans in Warri that spent their hard-earned money to come out apologies that you had to experience this. I was not going to be physically able to make it and this had been communicated to ‘them’ for a longgggg while now I mean MONTHS ago but for reasons best known to them, they continued to promote the show using my name. It’s a shame. But especially for my fans out there, don’t worry, you know I gotta bring Timeless to Delta State. We will do it proper, bigger and better!”

Best Choice Sports reports that former Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick on Friday called out the Afrobeat singer for refusing to show during Warri Again festival despite being paid $94,600 and the organisers booking a private jet for him for $18,000.
