Newly appointed Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Enugu State, Barrister Lloyd Ikechukwu Ekweremadu Jr. on Saturday wedded his heartthrob, Mrs Tiffany Adaobi Obinna-Uzor in Abuja.
The wedding held at the Basilica of Grace, Anglican Communion, Gudu District, saw notable political heavyweights in attendance.
Prominent among the dignitaries include former Senate President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Sen. Pius Ayim; former Kwara State Governor and Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Ebonyi State Governor, Mr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru among others.
Ebonyi State Governor, Mr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru lauded the couple for their great day and prayed God to bless their union.
“Today, at the Basilica of Grace, we celebrated Lloyd Ikechukwu Ekweremadu and Tiffany Adaobi Obinna-Uzor as they embarked on their journey of marriage. May God shower your union with blessings of peace and progress. Amen,” wrote Governor Nwifuru.
Mr Ekweremadu Jr’s wedding is coming eight days after the Enugu State Governor, Mr Peter Ndubisi Mbah assigned him portfolio along with other commissioners.
Barrister Lloyd Ekweremadu Jr is the son of the erstwhile Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu.
Unsurprisingly, both his father and mother were noticeably absent from the wedding as they are currently serving various jail terms in the United Kingdom following organ harvesting case for which they were found guilty.
