Eto’o Completes Move To Portuguese Club, Vitoria Guimaraes

Portuguese top-flight Championship side Vitoria Guimaraes have announced the capture of 19-year old Cameroonian forward Etienne Eto’o Pineda the son of four times African footballer of the year Samuel Eto Fils.
The former Mallorca reserves and Real Oviebo forward switch to Guimaraes as a free agent barely months after seeing out his previous contract with the Spanish side.
His latest employers have offered Eto’o a two-year deal with an option for an additional year per performance and interest of parties involved.
The ex-Balaeres playmaker has featured for Cameroon at Under-17 and most-recently Under-20 as he continues in the path to his father’s greatness.
Etienne scored twice for Cameroon at the Under-20 African cup of Nations tournament earlier this year.
Mid-table Guimaraes are looking to better their squad to improve on their current ranking after a far from descent start of the season.
Etienne who hasn’t played out of Spain before will experience professional Football in Portugal for the first time in his career.
