The FCT female U-12 handball team on Monday defeated C&S FPS Academy of Kwara State 12-3 in Day 2 of the ongoing 2022 National U-12/U-15 Handball Championship in Sokoto State.
The FCT girls recovered from their opening day 11-8 defeat against the host State to record an impressive victory against the academy team.
In other results made available, Sokoto Caliphate U-12 male lost 10-16 to Sokoto Rima in a local derby.
The Caliphate also lost their second match 8-31 against C&S FPS Academy of Kwara State.
In the female U-15 category, Sokoto Rima humbled C&S FPS Academy of Kwara 21-7 while Kebbi beat Katsina Desert Boys by 22-14 in the male U-15.
Action continues in the 3rd edition of the National U-12/U-15 Handball Championship on Tuesday.
