Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has stated that he is not yet mature to fill the void created by the retirement of former teammate, Odion Ighalo in the team, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Osimhen who is considered Nigeria’s future star is flattered by Odion Ighalo comparisons but is aware he still has plenty to do ahead.

The Lille of France striker emerged as one of the nation’s best young players with 18 goals, six assists for Ligue 1 side Lille this season.

“The comparison the fans give me and Ighalo seems to be like a compliment to me because Ighalo is a great striker but it will take me time before I can fill the shoes he left with the Super Eagles”, Osimhen told Pooja media.
