Lapai Football Academy has expressed eagerness to be part of the Nigeria Fieldoo Challenge football trial coming up in April, 2021 in Abuja.

Speaking with the Nigeria Fieldoo Challenge media team in Abuja Friday, coach of the academy, Fabian Edaba expressed the club’s willingness to be part of the challenge.

Coach Fabian who spoke after Nigeria Fieldoo Challenge Assistant Director, Coach Samuel Abimbola introduced the trial to the FCT Football Academy Owners Association in Abuja described the challenge as a unique opportunity.

The former Lobi Stars technical adviser noted that the the academy has a lot of talented players to showcase at the trials.

“I have had about the Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge before and for our chairman, Coach Samuel Abimbola who is part of the organisers to bring it before here, and the explanations he made, I have no doubt that this is a unique scouting programme.

“It is quite good and impressive. It is a very good development coming to the country

“I give you my word that Lapai Football Academy will be at the trial. We have a lot of talented players in our team, so we will be there,” he said.

The Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge football trial is scheduled to hold from 5th through 11th April, 2021.

The trial meant for players within 12 and 21 years will hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja
