The League Management Company LMC has announced that the misdseason break for the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL has commenced.

The league managers also announced that the current season’s transfer deadline is on the midnight of April 14, 2021.

In a letter sent to the 20 clubs in the NPFL, dated April 1 and made available to our correspondent, LMC directed all clubs to note the changes in the calendar adding that the Matchday 20 fixtures as previously announced to hold on 11th April have been moved to another day.

TO ALL CLUBS. Dear sirs,

MIDSEASON BREAK

l am directed to inform you that match day 20 matches will now be played on Sunday 18th April 2021 instead of the earlier scheduled date of 11th April.

This ts to allow Clubs enjoy our traditional midseason break of 14 days. We will send the revised calendar in due course.

1 am also to remind you that the second transfer window is still open for clubs to register players until midnight of 14th April 2021. You may wish to avail yourselves of this opportunity to strengthen your squads.
