LMC Reschedules Four NPFL Matches

The League Management Company organizers of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL has rescheduled four matches in the elite division
The rescheduled matches involve Akwa United, Rangers International FC, Abịa Warriors and Jihawa Golden Stars.
According to a circular signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the League body Salisu Abubakar, the matches involved are Matchday 22 of Match No 216 involving Akwa United and Rangers International F.C of Enugu.
The match which had an earlier date of 24 May, 2021 has been shifted to 25 May 2021. Also, Match Day 23 of Number 226 involving Abia Warriors and Akwa United earlier slated for 26 May has been moved to 27 May at the Okigwe Township Stadium.
The match day 23 between Rangers International and Jigawa Golden stars was also shifted from 26 May to 27 May, Jigawa Golden stars also had their Matchday 24 encounter with Abia Warriors earlier slated for 30 May, moved to 31 May.
This, the LMC said is due to logistics and television coverage. Clubs were further advised to adhere strictly to all Covid – 19 protocols.
