Excitement is building across Makurdi as everything has been put in place for the much anticipated Arsenal Victory Parade and Watch Party organized by the Benue Arsenal Family.

The Chairman of the Central Planning Committee (CPC), Mr. Orduen Ikon, popularly known as OD Woods, confirmed that the colourful celebration will hold on Sunday, 24th May, 2027, bringing together Arsenal supporters, football lovers and entertainers from across the state.

According to the schedule released by the organizers, fans and members of the Arsenal family are expected to start gathering from 1:30 PM at the Former Kenvil Park, near the High Level Underpass, ahead of the grand parade.

The trophy parade will officially kick off by 2:30 PM, moving through major parts of Makurdi to Ekkasson Signature, near Radio Benue, where supporters will converge for a massive watch party as Arsenal play their final match of the season.

The event promises an electrifying atmosphere filled with music, comedy, barbecue and endless celebration as fans unite to celebrate Arsenal’s remarkable campaign in style.

Organizers disclosed that there will be musical performances, comedy interludes and other side attractions at Half Time designed to keep guests entertained .

Meanwhile, OD Woods has specially appreciated Hon. Franc Utoo and Mr. Terrence Kuanum for donating one cow each towards the barbecue session of the celebration. He also expressed gratitude to several other supporters and contributors who have donated generously to ensure the success of the event.

Football fans in Benue are already describing the celebration as one of the biggest football gatherings the state has witnessed in recent times, with expectations high for a carnival-like atmosphere on Sunday.
