In total disregard to the existing court order, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF has rolled out its agenda for the proposed September 30 congress which will also elect new President, Vice Presidents and other board members of the federation.

In a letter dated September 14, signed by the General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi and addressed to “all members of NFF/Delegates”, the federation listed 19-point-agenda to be discussed in the meeting among which are the dissolution of the current board and election of new members.

The letter is coming against a Feredal High Court of Abuja’s injunction ordering a stoppage to the congress pending when a case instituted against the NFF in relation to the proposed congress before it, is determined.

Issuing the order on September 15, in a case filed by National Association of Nigeria Footballers, NANF, Justice I.E. Ekwo in suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/1376/2021, ordered the NFF to halt every process leading to the motion on notice pending when such are adjudicated.

However the NFF in deviance to the order has released its agenda for the congress scheduled to hold in Benin City, Edo State capital.

In the letter issued, the NFF noted that inter alia, the congress will approve the financial report as well as inauguration/swearing in of the newly elected Executive Committee Board members.
