Super Eagles and Leganes defender, Kenneth Omeruo has expressed his wish to leave his Spanish Segunda Liga side if the right offer comes up.
Omeruo, who was actively involved in his club’s campaign to return to la Liga rued the absence of some key players in his club failed promotion bid.
‘it was a difficult season, I had some injuries and team also had some injuries and at the end of the day the players we need to push the team were not available and it affected us in the playoffs’
He went further by saying ‘I still have a contract with Leganes but I am hoping to find a team in La Liga to play next season but the club has expressed interest in retaining me but if the right offer comes they will let me go’
Kenneth is presently in Nigeria for end-of-the-season break but hopes to return to Spain soon for preseason preparation.
