The 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Argentina with Uruguay winners have come and gone but Flying Eagles Coach, Ladan Bosso has come out to disclose that he never “collected bribe” in selecting the players that made up his team.
The Flying Eagles put up good showing in the competition beating Italy and host Argentina but lost narrowly 1-0 to South Korea in the quarter-final.
Bosso who was re-elected as the President of Nigeria Football Coaches Association on Tuesday in Abuja said he “never compromised” his job ethics.
“I’m able to do my job without compromising. Nobody can say that (they) gave me anything (to) be a part of the team. That’s why I say that the Federation need to provide all the support that our coaches need.
“We were able to defeat Italy which no other Nigerian team have defeated before. We also beat Argentina in their home ground for the first time,” Bosso told Brila FM on Thursday.
