Players and coaches of the 7th Dreamland/Embassy of Hungary finalists are spitting fire ahead of Sundays final, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Hooke Sport and Galdima will on Sunday battle for the coveted trophy at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Hooke Sports defeated IB Sporting Dreams 2-1 to reach the final on Friday while Gakadima beat Jazzy Stars 1-0 to book a final date with Hooke.

However, both coaches and players of the team sides are talking tough ahead of Sunday’s final which kicks off by 3pm.
According head coach of Hooke Sport, he disclosed that with the formation they are playing as well as their ability to win four matches and remain unbeaten in the tournament, they have all it takes to take home the trophy at the expense of Galadamia former champions.

“Our ability to win four matches so far is due to God’s mercy, the formation we played and the commitment of the players. God helped us to implement the formation.
“Our first and most important target is for our players to be selected by the scouters. And now that we are in the final, we are going for the trophy.

“We know Galadima very well so we are ready for them. We have studied their games tactically and we are going to capitalise on their weaknesses,” he said.

But his opposing number disagreed with him on taking the trophy home. According to Ernest Enya, coach of Galaima, the final is a local derby because the two teams are based in FCT here but vowed that that would not take anything away from the fact that they are going to win the trophy.

Coach Ernest stated that as former champions, Galadima has the experience to defeat Hooke Sport and go home with the trophy.
“We feel great defeating Jazzy in the semi-final. Considering that we put a lot into the preparation, I feel very happy.
“I believe with our experience in the tournament, we will definitely get the victory on Sunday. We are going to face a team that have not yet lost a match in this edition, we have watched them play and we know what to do.
“And do not forget that we have played eleven matches and we are yet to lose, so we have played more games without losing. They just played four matches without losing and we have played eleven without a loss, so which one is higher? By all standard, we are more experienced going into the final and that will count.
“What I am seeing on Sunday is an outright win, I am prepared for an outright win. They will give us a good fight but we have the mental strength to carry the day,” he stated.

Hooke Sport’s captain, Joshua Lawrence aligned with his coach adding that reaching the final after crashing out at the group stage in the previous edition is enough motivation for them to conquer.

“We are very happy to reach the final. We are really excited because in our first attempt here, we lost at the group stage and now we are in the final. So we will savour the moment but we are not unaware of the task ahead. The higher you go in a competition, the more difficult it becomes. The final was beyond our dream and we are very happy we are there.

“Now that we are in the final, our target is to win the cup. We have played four matches without losing and that tells you the compact and wonderful players we have. We are very together and we got everything in place. Last edition was a learning curve for us and we have picked it up from there. We will win the trophy.
Galadima captain, Umar Sani remained confident that his team will triumph on Sunday.

“I feel very happy for our team reaching the final and we will win the trophy. We will beat them (Hooke Sport). I believe my team, players and coaches. We will win the match by the grace of God.”
