Abia Warriors Goalkeeper, Uche Okafor reveals Secret Club’s Recent Form

Abia Warriors recent decent run of form has been a mystery which many NPFL followers are yet to unravel as the team currently occupies Fourth (4) position on the log with Seventeen points harnessed from Eleven (11) games played thus far in the 2019/2020 NPFL Season.
In an exclusive interview with Goalkeeper Uche Okafor, the former Junior International divulged the secret behind the team current form which makes the team one of the league favourites.
“Nothing special but just little things some clubs and players overlook, those things are really working for the team.
The bond and cordial relationship between the Coaches and Players, and Players amongst players is really the propelling force.
The fans Unalloyed support to the team in good times and bad is quiet another factor as we try to win every game for them as a way to repay their sacrifices of always gracing away matches venues in their numbers.
The club Management supports equally play another major role as they are always behind the team in all circumstances and all their relentless efforts in making sure the team is been provided with all the needs in ensuring the team always comes out with a postive result in every game. We always strive to consolidate all their efforts and kind gestures with a postive result in every game.
Above all, the team deep rooted foundation in God always pulls us through in every tight match situations”.
The former Junior International was in goal for the Umuahia Warlords against Plateau United and pulled worldclass saves to ensure the team records a clean sheet in the game.
Soft speaking Okafor is arguably one of the best safe hands in the NPFL as he has always been in top form every season.
It is remarkable to note the Goalkeepers in goal for Abia Warriors (Uche Okafor) and Plateau united (Dele Ajiboye) were U17 goalkeepers in 2007 U-17 World Cup in South Korea.
