Speaking in an exclusive interview with bestchoicesports.com.ng correspondent in Enugu, Rangers International FC Vice-captain, Tomitope Olusesi disclosed that the midweek NPFL matchday 25 clash with newcomers, Dakkada FC in Uyo is a revenge match.
Olusesi who was brimming in confidence after the team’s training on Monday said that with the win over Rivers United on Sunday, the team is poised to pick the three points against the Akwa Ibom side.
The left-back player noted that the Flying Antelopes are on revenge mission to collect the three points in Uyo adding that the defeat the team suffered in their home ground in Enugu against Dakkada will be corrected in Uyo on Wednesday. “The match against Rivers United was a very important game for us because we needed the three points to climb to the 5th position. With the determination and motivation from the players and the management, we got the needed three points. It was not an easy game but we got what we needed.
“Dakkada game is a revenge match. The players know what it means to pick the three points in Uyo. They are playing indoor matches now so it is going to be an opportunity for us to get the whole points. I know it is not going to be an easy game because they are young and strong but we will do our best to get the three points from them,” he said.
Rangers will visit Dakkada FC on Wednesday in one of the matchday 25 clashes of the 2020 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
