COVID-19 Lockdown: ‘I Want To Go Home’ – Oshoala Cries Out

Super Falcons Captain, Asisat Oshoala has cried out that she wants to travel to her home country Nigeria amid coronavirus lockdown and lack of football activities, Bestchoicesports.com.ng reports.
The FCB Femeni striker in a tweet on Friday called for help and requested that anybody who has a private jet not in use should at the moment should come and take her to Lagos.
In the tweet that has generated over five thousand comments at the time the time of this report was posted in Pidgin English
“Abeg who get private jet wey him no Dey use for now 😩😩, please Comman carry me from Barcelona to Lagos 😭😭😭…..I want to go home 😩😩” she said.

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) decided to cancel the non-professional football season in Spain, which directly affects women’s football.
The federation, in a statement, confirmed the early end of the championship, while emphasising that no teams will be relegated.
Barcelona were topping the Primera División Femenina table with 59 points from 21 matches before the season was halted in March, as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
Oshoala’s form was excellent over the course of the 2019-2020 campaign, scoring 26 goals in all competitions of which 20 were in the league, including a double brace vs Real Madrid-owned Tacon in January.
