LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been suspended for two matches by the Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee for violent conduct, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands.

The Swede was also slapped with an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 86th minute of Galaxy’s 2-0 defeat to New York City last Saturday.

The former Manchester United striker clashed with the opposing goalkeeper Sean Johnson before grabbing him by the neck with his right hand before both players fell to the floor.

Ibrahimovic has enjoyed a decent start to this campaign this season, scoring nine goals in 10 games.
