NPFL Matchday 2: Akwa United Depart For Enugu To Face Rangers

Ahead of Matchday 2 of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, Akwa United have departed their base in Uyo For Enugu to keep a date with rivals, Rangers International.
The match is slated for Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021.
The Promise Keepers will arrive Enugu With 20 players and other team officials where they hope to shock their host in the big encounter

“Team Akwa United (20 players and some key officials) depart Uyo for Enugu for NPFL Match-day 2 game against Enugu Rangers,” the team.posted on it’s Twitter Saturday morning.
“We pray for journey mercies and victory on Sunday,” the tweet concluded.
The two sides decided contrasting results in the Matchday fixtures.
While Enugu Rangers lost 1-0 to Rivers United in Port Harcourt, Akwa United were held to a barren draw in a local derby by rivals Dakaada FC in Uyo.
