Name Iheanacho April Player Of The Month – Yaya Toure Tells PL

Former Manchester City player has prevailed on the Premier League to name Nigeria striker, Kelechi Iheanacho as the April Player of the Month.
Toure who won Africa Football of the Year on four occasions premised his call on the fact that Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes won the award recently for basically scoring penalties.
This, the former Ivory Coast star noted contradicts Kelechi Iheanacho’s recent performances with his club, Leicester City.
“Premier league shouldn’t be shy to give my boy Kelechi Iheanacho a second consecutive Premier league Player of the Month Award,” Toure said.
“He deserves it. They did it with Bruno Fernandes after his Penalty prowess, so Iheanacho is even doing it better by scoring on open play.”
Kelechi Iheanacho was named March Player of the Month award after his goal scoring prowess with the Foxes.
He has not stopped scoring as he scored twice over the weekend against Westham United although his brace could not save the foxes from defeat as they lost the match by 3-2.
Iheanacho has scored 8 goals so far in the 2020/2021 season after making 18 appearances out of which 8 were as sub.
The forward scored five goals in the month to become the fourth Nigerian player to win the award, after Jay Jay Okocha, Peter Odemwingie and Odion Ighalo
