Kenneth Omeruo has called on Nigerians to support the home-based Eagles despite being thrashed four-nil by mexico Over the weekend.

Omeruo in an exclusive interview with exclusivenews in Abuja said mexico is one of the best teams in the world and it will be foolhardy to write the team off because of one match.

‘Mexico is one of the best teams in the world and even with the main Super Eagles it would have been difficult and it can go either way how much more a whole team of home-based players with just one or two weeks to train and that is not enough’

He, however, called for more friendly matches for the team and commended NFF for planning to organize more matches for the team which to him is the best way to make the team better.
