2021 AFCON: I Don’t Sleep Well – Super Eagles Coach, Eguavoen

Super Eagles interim coach, Augustine Eguavoen has disclosed that he does not sleep well at night ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON in January, www.bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
Eguavoen who was appointed Super Eagles coach after former handler, Gernot Rohr was axed in December, said he does not sleep well because expectations in the tournament skated to hold in Cameroon next month.
While acknowledging that alot of people do not believe in the team to deliver in Cameroon, he promise to “put a smile on the faces of Nigerians”
“It was tough coming up with the final list and since I got the news (of taking Eagles to Cameroon).
“I would say I don’t sleep well because of expectations but I know not everybody wants us to succeed because they are in doubt but we will do everything humanly possible to put a smile on the faces of Nigerians,” he said on his Facebook timeline
Nigeria will begin their campaign to win a 4th continental diadem in Group D against Egypt on January 11.
