CAF Opens Office In Abidjan Ahead Of 2023 Africa Cup Of Nations

Africa’s football body, the Confederation of Africa Football, CAF have opened office in Ivory Coast capital, Abidjan Ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, www.bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

CAF President Mr Patrice Motsepe inaugurated the satellite office in Ivory Coast on Monday as preparations ahead of Africa Cup of Nations 2023 gain momentum.

This is the second time that CAF has opened a satellite office in the host country to ensure better coordination between CAF, Local Organising Committee (LOC) and Government.

The first one was in Yaoundé ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021.

Mr Motsepe was joined by Ivorian Minister of Sports, Mr. Paulin Claude Danho; Mayor of Abidjan, Mr. Jean-Marc Yace; Local Organising Committee President, Mr. Albert François Amichia, Mme Mariam Dao Gabala, FIF Chairperson of the Normalisation Committee, CAF President Special Advisory Mr Jacques Anouma and CAF General Secretary Mr Veron Mosengo-Omba.

The 34th edition of the biennial continental football showpiece will hold from 23 June to 23 July next year. The group stage qualifiers will commence in June
