A former FIFA badged referee, Festus Bolaji Okubule popularly known as Show Boy is dead.

Bolaji Okubule, the FIFA graded referee died in Tuesday, April 5th

He was aged 80.

According to Kapital FM Abuja, late Show Boy would forever remain a reference in the history of Nigerian football. For more than four decades, he officiated several domestic and international matches across the length and breadth of Africa.

The former President of the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) not too long ago marked his 80th birthday.

It was gathered that three days after his 80th birthday, he was down with stroke, partially got better but didn’t recover till he passed on last Tuesday
