Super Eagles goalkeeper, John Noble has been appointed the New captain of former Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL champions, Enyimba International FC

The appointment means that John Noble replaces former occupier Austin Oladapo who left the club for Congolese side, Tout Puissant Mazembe, commonly referred to as TP Mazembe earlier in the summer.

The shot-stopper will be assisted by midfielders Philip Ozor and Emeka Obioma.

Enyimba are the most successful club in the country having won the nation’s domestic league a record eight-times and Mr Noble’s responsibility included coordinating the team towards reclaiming their title in the upcoming season.

The People’s Elephant missed out in the continental slot last season after they finished 7th behind winners River United, Plateau United, Remo Stars, Kwara United, Rangers International FC and Nasarawa United in that order.
