Cristiano Ronaldo’s Staggering Nike Income Leaked
Details of one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s most lucrative endorsement deals have emerged online with Football Leaks (via Der Spiegel) publishing his deal with sportswear giant Nike.
Ronaldo was reportedly the subject of a major battle between Nike and rivals Adidas to land his services before he penned a 10-year extension with Nike in 2016. According to Football Leaks, Ronaldo’s deal is worth a remarkable €162million (£146.8m ), paying him an annual fee of €16.2million (£14.68m).
The Juventus forward also gets an extra €4m bonus should he win the Ballon d’Or or FIFA The Best Award in that time which means that he was handed those trophies in 2016 and 2017, he earned €20.2m in both those years. Ronaldo is also comfortably the best-paid player in Serie A with a reported €30m per year salary at Juventus.
