Super Falcons striker, Rasheedat Ajibade has lunched her pet project, grassroots football talent programme, Stand Out With Rash 2022.

The Atlético de Madrid Femenino forward who made the announcement on Wednesday however did not provide details about the programme.

However, it is understood that the programme is geared towards discovering of talented players at the grassroots level which could be a competition as exceptional players will receive gifts from the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON Golden Boot winner.

She also noted that there will be sponsorship of two football coaches who wish to further their careers.

“My little way of giving back, exposing grassroots talent and encouraging others to keep on pushing.

“There will be prizes such as jerseys and boots for players as well as a sponsored programs for two coaches who desire to further develop their skills.

“More information will be revealed on my social media later today. Love you all,” she said on her Twitter handle Wednesday morning.

Rasheedat Ajibade scored the only goal against Cameroon in the 2022 WAFCON quarter-final that sealed the Super Falcons’ qualification for 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
