Two Nigerian Para Powerlifting athletes, Onyinyechi Gift Mark and Latifat Tijani have been disqualified from competing at the ongoing Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

The duo were disqualified from competing in the para-powerlifting event scheduled for today for turning late to the venue of the event.

Both athletes reportedly came late for their kits inspection ahead of the competition
