The Pride of Rivers were paired to face the Egyptian in the play-off draw held on Tuesday in Cairo, CAF headquarters.

Rivers United were demoted to play in the continent’s second tier league after they crashed out of the CAF Champions League second round in a 2-1 aggravate defeat to Al Hilal over the weekend.

The NPFL side will host the first leg on November 29, 2021 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt by 4pm.

The reverse leg will hold at the 18, 000 capacity Port Said Stadium, Egypt on December 5th.

The winner of the two matches will qualify for the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
